Exercising the right of withdrawal

The Customer has the right to withdraw from the Contract without giving any reason within fourteen days from the day on which the Customer, or a third party other than the carrier, receives the goods and takes possession of them.

Before the withdrawal period expires, the Customer shall inform the Seller of the decision to withdraw from the Contract using the instructions and form available on the website or by making any other explicit statement of withdrawal.

The withdrawal notice must be sent by e-mail to info@bestespresso.online or by registered mail with return receipt to BEST ESPRESSO ON LINE S.R.L. – Via Cavalieri di Malta 3 – 35038 Torreglia (PD), Italy.

It is the Customer’s responsibility to prove timely and correct dispatch of the withdrawal notice.

Customer obligations in case of withdrawal

When exercising withdrawal, the Customer shall return the Products without undue delay and in any event within fourteen days from notifying the Seller of the decision to withdraw. The deadline is met if the Products are returned before expiry, by shipping them to the address above or delivering them to an authorised third party.

The Customer is liable for any reduction in the value of the Products resulting from handling beyond what is necessary to establish their nature, characteristics and functioning, or if the original packaging or integral parts are missing.

Seller obligations in case of withdrawal

The Seller will refund all payments received from the Customer for the withdrawn contract, including delivery costs where applicable, without undue delay after receiving intact Products at its warehouse and verifying their condition.

Return shipping costs are borne by the Customer and will not be refunded. For orders with free shipping included in the price, a one-off shipping cost of EUR 10.00 will be deducted from the refund.

The Seller may withhold the refund until receipt of the Products or until the Customer proves they have been sent back, whichever occurs first.

The refund will be made using the same payment method used for the initial transaction, unless the Customer expressly chooses otherwise.

Exceptions to the right of withdrawal

The right of withdrawal is excluded where the sale falls under the exceptions provided by Art. 59 of Italian Legislative Decree 206/2005, in particular for sealed goods that cannot be returned for hygiene or health protection reasons once opened after delivery.

Food products sold by the Seller, including pre-packaged goods, fall within these exceptions; therefore the buyer may not withdraw once the contract has been concluded.
